Italian brand has published a teaser of a new racing car, developed by the sports division of Squadra Corse. The image of Lamborghini SCV12 supercar appeared on the main page of the official site of the manufacturer. The inscription under the teaser reads: "Do not miss the launch of the new model", clearly hinting at an early premiere.
Since the Lamborghini SCV12 is designed exclusively for the track, the designers were able to show all their creativity. Instead of traditional headlamps, the sports car was given a diamond-shaped lamp in the front bumper. At the rear there are huge fenders, a large diffuser to which a massive rear fender is attached and two large free-standing round exhaust pipes. The impressive aerodynamic plumage is said to provide more downforce than a GT3 class car.
The company also talks about the small mass of Lamborghini SCV12, but the exact figure is not called. It is known that the supercar has a carbon fiber chassis and magnesium wheels. In all likelihood, the interior will leave only all the essentials on the track.
SCV12 is equipped with a 6.5-liter "atmospheric" V12 with an output of 830 hp. Cooling of the engine will provide a special air intake installed on the roof. The engine sends all power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed sequential gearbox from the tracked Huracan Super Trofeo Evo.
Lamborghini SCV12 price and circulation is not announced yet. The exact date of the premiere of the sports car has not yet been announced.
