Last year's Leap C-More concept turned into a mid-sized electric crossover Leap C11, which today began to collect pre-orders for the show in Guangzhou at prices of 160,000-200,000 yuan ($24,400-30,500). Sales will start only in the third quarter of 2021, but the main features are disclosed. The Hercules, with two identical front and rear electric motors, develops 400 kW (544 hp, 720 Nm), providing four-wheel drive and exchange for hundreds for 4.9 hp.
"Tae-nineteenth" is the third Leap Motor model after S01 and T03 hatchbacks on S and T platforms. The newcomer got the matrix diode headlights and Continental UltraContact UC6 (255/45 R20) tires.
Parquetnik is based on the new modular platform C (two levers at the front, five levers at the rear). Dimensions: 4745?1890?1635 mm, between axles 2923. The door handles are retractable for aerodynamics. The only charging port is hiding above the right rear wheel.
Three motion modes are available: Sport, Comfort, Eco. The battery capacity is not named (probably 90 kWh). The NEDC cycle power reserve is estimated at 550-600 km. Later will be released cheaper version - with one engine, mono drive and acceleration up to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds. Autopilot Leap Pilot as if already corresponds to the third level of development, but it can be improved "by air" to the fourth.
The cabin, trimmed with Nappa leather, has three displays: digital instrument and "co-pilot screen" have a diagonal of 10 inches, central touchscreen - 13 inches. All buttons have been replaced with touch panels, including the two-spoke multitalent. All seats are heated.
Leap C11 has received an exclusive third-generation digital platform based on Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P processor and "the first Chinese AI chip" Lingxin 01 from Zhejiang Dahua Technology. The 5G communication has not yet come to an end, but it is a matter of time. Voice, face and fingerprint recognition is already working. The next model on the "cart" C will be a C01 sedan, unified with a 70% parquet, and expected in 2022.
