The car brand wants to update almost completely its new sedan, and engineers were inspired by the Viziv Concept, presented in 2017 in Tokyo.
It is noteworthy that WRX and STI cars have already managed to get special versions. In the near future the production of Subaru WRX Club Spec is expected, but it is planned only in Australia. Now the sports WRX Club Spec will have a package of elements, including a set of 18-inch alloy wheels from STI, new calipers from Brembo and manual transmission. A Club Spec icon will be added at the rear of the car.
WRX Club Spec will be updated with Recaro seats, the Ultrasuede steering wheel, which fans of the WRX STI model have already been able to appreciate. The list of options for Harman-Kardon speakers will be supplemented by a special Club Spec icon.
The WRX Club Spec is limited to 150 vehicles, and customers can choose between a variator or manual transmission. Colors to choose from: WR Blue Pearl as well as the exclusive Crystal Black Silica and the new Crystal White Pearl. Compared to the basic assembly, the sports kit will cost a little more.
The next generation of WRX, according to expectations, may appear as early as 2021, and under the hood may be a 2.4-liter turbocharged V4, giving 400 horsepower and 490 Newton meters of torque.
