Last month, Mazda introduced a major power upgrade for its compact model. The Japanese automaker introduced the Mazda3 2021 model year with a 2.5-liter turbo engine and all-wheel drive system. When sales of this model start later this year, it will have an initial price of $30,845 per sedan version. Those who want the Mazda3 hatchback will have to pay a minimum of $31,845.
2.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine of the SkyActiv-G 2.5T family produces 227 horsepower (420 Nm).
But it's on gasoline with the octane number 87. If you use fuel with octane number 93, the engine will be able to produce 250 hp, the torque will increase to 434 Nm. The engine is in any case connected to an automatic gearbox, which transmits torque exclusively to all four wheels.
The price of Mazda3 with turbo engine is certainly higher than the basic version 2021. If a sedan costs from $22,445, prices for a hatchback start at $23,445. In addition to the increased power, the sedan/hatchback version with turbo engine also has many chips. Standard features include an electric hatch, Bose audio system with 12 speakers, LED headlights and DRL, heated front seats, dual zone climate control and much more. This does not include safety features such as radar cruise control and lane saving assistance.
The Premium Plus package is available for $2,550 for a sedan and $2,850 for a hatchback. For this money you get a glossy black spoiler for the boot lid of the sedan - in the hatchback version, the spoiler is mounted on the roof. The "package" also adds safety features such as automatic reverse braking and an upgraded 360-degree camera system.
Mazda3 2.5 Turbo 2021 will arrive at the dealerships by the end of the year. Heavy-duty models with SkyActiv-G 2.0 and 2.5 engines will start arriving at the showrooms this month.
