The Peugeot company officially presented the most powerful serial car in the history of the brand. The 360-horsepower all-wheel drive 508 Sport Engineered received a hybrid power unit, three body painting variants and five control electronics operation profiles.
"Charged" Peugeot 508 Sport Engineered is equipped with a three-engine power unit. It consists of a gasoline engine and two electric motors located on the front and rear axles. Total output of the system is 360 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque. Up to "hundred" 508th accelerates in 5.2 seconds. The maximum speed is 250 kilometers per hour.
Both the elevator and unimpedal are equipped with adaptive suspension with three modes of operation: Comfort, Hybrid and Sport. In addition, it has five driving modes. When switching to the Electric profile, the car will be able to drive 42 kilometers on electric traction with a maximum speed of 140 kilometers per hour. Mode Hybrid will provide automatic switching between internal combustion engines and electric motors. Sports settings will allow you to activate the maximum power, and 4WD will provide maximum traction on slippery surfaces. A Comfort Hybrid Mode is also available for the model for quiet driving.
The Peugeot 508 Sport Engineered battery can be recharged in several ways: in less than seven hours from the utility grid, or in two hours from the seven-kilowatt Wall Box wall charging.
In the list of equipment Peugeot 508 Sport Engineered - night vision system, adaptive cruise control, as well as systems of band holding and automatic braking. In addition, the equipment includes a projection display and a 10 inch multimedia screen.
Peugeot 508 Sport Engineered will be available in three body painting options. Gray Selenium Grey, pearl black Perla Nera Black, and pearl white Pearl White will be available for the model. The start of receiving orders for the most powerful model in the history of the French company will begin in mid-October 2020. The cost of the elevator is not disclosed yet.
