The roadster, which was announced three years ago, has not yet gone into mass production.

The information that Tesla Roadster in 2021 will go to Europe for the race on the legendary racetrack Nurburgring, confirmed in the social network Twitter founder Ilon Mask. At the same time, the serial car was supposed to come off the assembly line of the brand in 2020. There are three months left till the end of this year, the situation may still change.

In 2019, Tesla was already trying to conquer the Northern Noose. Then the company brought to Europe several prototypes of Tesla Model S Plaid in order to surpass the lap record among electric cars set by Porsche Taycan. Judging by the fact that the time of passing the track by the American electric cars was not published, we can assume that the lap record remained with the Porsche.

Recall that at the end of 2017, the Tesla company introduced its sports electric car with an uncomplicated name Roadster. According to the manufacturer's assurances, the model accelerates from place to 100 km / h in less than 2 seconds and has a top speed of 400 km / h. The only working prototype of the car was sent as a cargo of Falcon Heavy rocket to the planet Mars.
