The American brand announced a new version of Jeep Wrangler off-road vehicle, which received the designation Rubicon Recon. The novelty, which is designed for the Australian market, will be released no more than 100 copies. Both 2- and 4-door versions of the SUV will be available.

The new version of the U.S. off-road vehicle, which will be available in a limited edition, will be offered as a 4-door and 2-door versions, in the first case, customers will be available 60 copies, and in the second - 40 copies. All of them are supplied with a matte black hood and stickers on the wings, as well as a black grille and black 17-inch wheel rims.

Jeep fitted the Wrangler Rubicon Recon with a steel front bumper as well as the Jeep Performance Parts hood and Jeep Performance Parts rear door reinforcement system.

Those who want something more special can choose for the Recon Premium Package, which adds a three-section rigid roof that is painted in body colour and wing extensions that are also painted in body colour.

All versions of Wrangler Rubicon Recon are equipped with Torch Red seat belts combined with a red stitching. The off-road vehicle is equipped as standard with black leather seats, heated front seats, heated steering wheel and Trail-Rail traffic control system.

"The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon two-door vehicle continues to be a welcome offer to the Australian off-road community and we are very pleased to offer our fans an even more exclusive version of the vehicle," said the director of Jeep Australia.

All 100 units are equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, which operates with an eight-speed ??automatic gearbox. Prices for the 2-door car start at $47,688, while the 4-door model has a starting price of $50,894. Premium paint costs $530, while the Recon Premium "package" will cost you an additional $2,136.
